Jared Scruggs is an associate at the Lanier Law Firm Houston office. He represents client in a variety of civil litigation matters, including toxic torts, and asbestos related injuries.
Mr. Scruggs was born and raised in the small town of Hutto, Texas. He attended Rice University, in Houston, for his undergraduate studies. While at Rice, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was a four year letterman on the football team. Prior to earning his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law, he worked in the financial sector at a prominent Houston bank. While at the bank, he earned his MBA from Houston Baptist University.
Mr. Scruggs lives in Houston with his wife, Shane, and son, Weston, where they are members of Second Baptist Church.
Mr. Scruggs was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2014. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, as well as Rice University Owl Club.
