Attorney Spotlight – Clay Fostel

Each month, we like to feature one of our attorneys to help you get to know our team better. We sat down with Clay Fostel, our managing attorney for asbestos litigation, to talk about his background in the legal field and what he is currently working on.

What led you to a legal career?

My father was a District Attorney in Kermit, Texas for more than 30 years, so I followed in his footsteps.

What has been your most interesting or memorable case and why?

I have had some good ones, but I did have the spouse of a deceased client ask me to be a pall bearer at his funeral. That meant a lot to me.

What litigation are you currently working on?

I am heavily involved in a wide range of asbestos-related litigation for the firm.

What are one or two things about you that most people don’t know?

I am an avid LSU Tiger fan.  I am also a very good cook!
